If anyone's wondering what the "Catch Of The Day" actually is, check out my "Times Select" post from yesterday, which will explain everything. Since David Brooks is consistently one of the Times' least popular columnists, the "free" links available weren't the best quality. Be warned that the host decided to interject his own thoughts every other paragraph of the column, so if you want to just read Mr. Brooks' truly "unbelievable" cultural analysis unfettered, just stick to the sections in quotes.
