An old friend just told me that they tried to buy beer in Louisville, and were turned away.  In Louisville, on Election Day, it is apparently illegal to buy beer before the polls close, at 6:00pm.  That is frigging hilarious!

Are they worried about drunk voting?  Or drunk counting?

With 53% of vote in Northrup leads Yarmuth by 300 votes. The very valid reason no liquor can be sold on election day from 6 am until 6 pm (when the polls are open) is that we Kentuckians value our votes so much that we ONLY sell our votes for alcohol and preferably Makers Mark whiskey! In order to have such superb pubic officials as we do, our astute fathers and a few mothers, had to prohibit our alcohol intake during voting. A perfectly valid reason

There's no such thing as a perfect guy. I think it would be strange if somebody was absolutely everything you always wanted, because then there'd be no challenge. Also, you'd feel inferior.
