I think Brooks is on to something here. A Clinton Restoration would devote its energy to settling political scores. On actual policy, it would change very little. Like Bush, the track record shows that policy is not what interests the Clintons. Their interest lies in the accumulation of power.
That accumulation depends on putting up a progressive front to the base in their rhetoric, and maintaining the status quo in their deeds.
