Looks like he won't be around to chop up the vote on Super Tuesday. Why now? Money? An AG offer from one of the other candidates (and that could come from Barack or Hillary)?
The way it plays? It helps Hillary in the South, and Barack in the North and West. Either way, without a strong endorsement from Edwards—and he appears unwilling to provide one as of yet—it's probably a wash for both candidates. At least we now get the one-on-one match some of us have been waiting for.

Speculation is on that his wife's illness has gotten worse and that *may* be why he dropped out. I hope to God that is not the case... Reply to this
