Clinton Takes California

The predicted status quo prevails.  I'm sure early voting played a big role, her institutional strength even bigger.  Still, Obama had a terrific night, winning 12 states, so far, to Clinton's 7.  He will likely (hopefully) come closer to her lead in California than he currently is, so that the proportionate delegate count tightens up.

As it is, his many victories tonight blunt any chance Clinton has of claiming a Super Tuesday victory.  Having survived tonight with a high delegate count, and several unclustered contests in the coming weeks that Obama can focus on individually, he still has a strong chance of winning the nomination.  Just no time soon!

Found you through Taylor Marsh.  I'm glad I found you.  Voice in the wilderness over there.  Looks like a decent night overall for Obama.  Good news.
