Oh my. Oh, oh my. Oh dear. The debate between the two has already begun, and it is not a flattering comparison for Palin.
Between her accidental endorsement of a Constitutional right to privacy, and her total inability to recall a single other Supreme Court case other than Roe v. Wade (Bush vs. Gore? Brown vs. Board? Bueller vs. Rooney?), she manages to not only alienate the religious right, but all the rest of us with IQs over 80 as well. You can actually hear her groan when Katie asks her about other Supreme Court cases besides Roe. I suddenly felt very sorry for her.
If tomorrow night goes anything remotely like this, it's already over.
Pardon the 30-second CBS programming commercial you'll have to sit through at the start. It's worth it.
